road trips #2

Clearwater Beach, Fort de Soto

This has got to be my favourite road trip. Someday in July, we went to Clearwater, Tampa. This beach is truly amazing! If you're doubting the name, please don't cos the water is really clear! And the sand feels really fine in between your toes.

Love this picture! Footprints in the sand.

We were looking for directions, then we started taking pictures again!

I think this is a classic! Doesn't it look so "postcard" like? I love it!

We asked around, and found a place for lunch. The lady made a good recommendation, as the food turned out to be yummy and value-for-money. So we were satisfied customers.

Unfortunately, when we finished lunch, it started pouring. We didn't have the luxury of enjoying the beach then. So we went into the gift shop to do our rounds, and then proceeded to our next destination.

We missed the exit, and ended up here, turns out to be a nice place too. Guess what they are doing?! Yeah, the infamous SMU jump. Haha.. It's hard to coordinate everyone, as you can see.

Passengers in the car!

There we arrive, at Fort de Soto.

Me and a cheerful girl, QX! With her around, its always full of smiles and laughter!

Credits to our photographer and driver of the trip! Don't play play with his camera leh.. Way more expensive than what I can afford with what I have in my bank account! So check out what Liwen is trying to do.. Snapped while snapping.. She loves this shot of hers!

Then it was time to leave Fort de Soto, and we went to the pier. Before that, we even played beach volleyball with some boys. We obviously outnumbered them, and also played better than we thought! Haha..

Anyway the pier is a lively place even at night. There were performances going on, and artists drawing portraits. Being tourists, we have to try. The boy is only 14 years old! Okies, I was trying not to laugh but it was difficult with all my friends standing around looking at me.

The final portrait looked like me 10 years ago, they say. Not too satisfied, as you can imagine.

This was a really great trip! Loved the place, and the company! Though we all returned really tired and late that night, it was well worth it!

I dropped by at 12:03 AM
